”Bringing the Body of Christ to the Body of Christ”
![]() | The Communion Service Ministry offers those who are no longer able to gather in our churches the opportunity to worship as a community, receive the Holy Eucharist, and pray and sing together. |
Under the guidance of diocesan appointed Deacon Ken Arnold, communion ministers volunteer in pairs. Together they conduct weekly services in our Irondequoit nursing homes, day centers, assisted living facilities and senior apartments.
Through this ministry, God touches both the volunteers and the residents as it brings “church” back into the lives of the sometimes forgotten.
